The Screen Door Open Charity Golf Association
was formed by golfers who want to make a difference
in the community. In March 2001, several of those same
golfers organized the Screen Door Open Charity
Golf, Inc. (SDO). The purpose of the SDO is:
- To bring together average golfers
to play in an affordable charity golf tournament.
- Promote the game of golf by using
a format of golf that allows players to hit more of
their own shots.
- To raise funds for youth foundations
that help kids to live a better life.
